   4 Hi, I just wanted to announce__ the pre-release of my first Maemo__
   5 "application". The Status Area Display Blanking Applet let you easily change
   6 the display blanking mode right from the status menu, without having to go
   7 through the settings.

  12 This is specially useful if you have a short blanking time when you use
  13 applications that you want to look at for a long time without interacting with
  14 the phone and don't inhibit display blanking by themselves (for example a web
  15 browser, image viewer or some GPS applications).
